Watch Me Build an Abstract Painting from Start to Finish
Join me in this relaxing abstract art tutorial where I create a single mixed media piece using Masah’s watercolors, acrylic paint, stencils, and mark-making tools.
Whether you're new to abstract painting or looking for inspiration to loosen up your layers, this process video walks you through intuitive techniques for building texture, depth, and expressive movement on the page.
Looking for the supplies I used? I’ve listed all my favorite and most-used materials on one easy-to-update page here: https://2lilowls.com/favorite-supplies-for-mixed-media-abstract-art/
(Some of the links are affiliate links. If you use my link, I get a small commission, which will go toward my art supplies and to support this channel! I appreciate your support!!)
Note: I don’t list individual supply links on every post any longer, simply because keeping up with that for each video or project took more time than I have. Instead, I’ve created one easy-to-browse page where I’ve listed all my favorite and most-used art supplies. It’s always up to date, and a great place to find what I’m working with most often.

I truly enjoy your sessions and positivity! I’m just a beginner but your videos inspire me to experiment more. My concern is cost. I went to your supply list and the materials ( ie Masha paints) are pricey. If you can recommend less pricey materials, would greatly appreciate that. I would also like to see how you finish your art for framing/mounting ( gloss or matte medium…)
Thank you and please keep making art to inspire!
Thank you so much! You definitely do not need the pricier supplies to experiment and make beautiful work, and I’m happy to share more budget friendly options in future videos. I also love your idea about showing how I finish pieces for framing or mounting, including when I use a matte or gloss medium, so I’ll keep that in mind for a future session.
