In this workshop, we are going to take a look at the basics of using textures in your photos. I love adding textures to my photos since they have the ability to add some beautiful depth and extra drama to a scene. In the videos below I am going to share with you how easy it is to use textures, what kind of photos work best with the intent to use textures on them and I’ll show you how you can stay organized with your assets! I am really looking forward to what you are creating. You can come over and share what you are working on in our Texture Artists Facebook Group – and meet up with others who love using textures too!

To make the videos full page – click on the 4 arrow icon in the bottom right of the video you wish to watch. These videos are available in High Def. If you are not seeing a clear picture – click the HD icon on the bottom row of the video and change to 720p or 1080p. Please be aware that Vimeo sets to auto playback on picture quality to allow for the speed of your internet. Changing the quality to a higher quality may cause the video to pause during the playback due to slower internet speed. In that case – you might go ahead and switch to a slower speed for smoother streaming.
