Matte Paint Play: Watercolor paper vs Canvas in Art Journaling

In this art video tutorial, I delve into the world of mixed media journaling with the versatile Dina Wakley Media Journal. Exploring the differences between watercolor and canvas pages within the same spread, I experiment with Blick matte paint and various stencils to create dynamic compositions. One notable technique I employ is the use of a silicone spreader instead of traditional paint brushes, adding an element of spontaneity and texture to the process.

Dina Wakley Media Journal - Looks like this one is gone - you might google this journal to see what is still available. I heard it was a discontinued journal and the craft journals were the ones currently being made.
