Master Study: Monet’s Waterlilies Colors in an Abstract Art Journal Spread
In this video, we explore the stunning color palette of Claude Monet’s Waterlilies and translate it into an abstract painting in the Dina Wakley Ledger Journal.
We start by swatching the master’s colors, then create a loose, expressive abstract piece inspired by his iconic hues. To finish, we add beautiful botanical stencil work for extra depth and interest.
This tutorial is a perfect way to study the masters without copying their work—learning from their palettes to inspire our own unique art! Join me for this creative journey and bring a little Monet magic into your art journal.
