Let’s Unbox and Create: SketchBox, Stencil Girl Stencils, and Watercolor Abstract
In today’s art haul, I’m opening my SketchBox and my Stencil Girl Monthly Club stencils and sharing what I’m excited to use next. SketchBox surprised me with a gouache box with 3 colors plus a Beam Paints watercolor, and I loved the mix for quick swatching and layered play.
I also introduced a new watercolor paint I came across - Fuumuui opaque watercolors in some gorgeous shades, and I showed the larger 48-piece set of Gel Art Sticks since I’m already obsessed with my pastel collection.
To wrap it all up, I used the new supplies right away and painted an abstract piece with watercolors so you can see how everything performs in real time.
Looking for the supplies I used? I’ve listed all my favorite and most-used materials on one easy-to-update page here: https://2lilowls.com/favorite-supplies-for-mixed-media-abstract-art/
(Some of the links are affiliate links. If you use my link, I get a small commission, which will go toward my art supplies and to support this channel! I appreciate your support!!)
Note: I don’t list individual supply links on every post any longer, simply because keeping up with that for each video or project took more time than I have. Instead, I’ve created one easy-to-browse page where I’ve listed all my favorite and most-used art supplies. It’s always up to date, and a great place to find what I’m working with most often.
