Layered Circles in Blue and Green: Abstract Watercolor Tutorial
In this video, I’m creating an abstract concentric circle painting using Masha’s beautiful handmade watercolors in calming shades of blue and green. I walk you through my process of building layered rings of color, adding simple but expressive mark making with a Blackwing pencil, and finishing it all off with shimmering touches of Kuretake gold ink.
This project is a fun mix of watercolor, drawing, and a bit of metallic magic. If you enjoy intuitive painting, playing with circles, and exploring mixed media, come hang out with me and see how it all comes together.

Looking for the supplies I used? I’ve listed all my favorite and most-used materials on one easy-to-update page here: https://2lilowls.com/favorite-supplies-for-mixed-media-abstract-art/
(Some of the links are affiliate links. If you use my link, I get a small commission, which will go toward my art supplies and to support this channel! I appreciate your support!!)
Note: I don’t list individual supply links on every post any longer, simply because keeping up with that for each video or project took more time than I have. Instead, I’ve created one easy-to-browse page where I’ve listed all my favorite and most-used art supplies. It’s always up to date, and a great place to find what I’m working with most often.
