This close-up captures the pattern-rich surface of my abstract gouache painting. I combined saturated pink and red color washes with gold leaf-inspired shapes, white striped bands, scattered dots, and subtle stamped textures. The repeated marks create flow while keeping the painting loose, playful, and expressive.
