Handmade Paper Ornaments Tutorial

Here it is… the next tutorial in our handmade Christmas series. These are soooo pretty and are perfect for hanging up as decorations in your house and to use in your Christmas photography setups.

I am using a few simple supplies and a couple of small tools to create these. Some scrapbook paper, scissors, wire, beads, wire cutters, needle nose pliers and that’s it. After experimenting with a few different papers I preferred using the scrapbooking papers from the craft store on these. The weight was just right. You might also try out some wallpaper for these too. The wrapping paper seemed too thin.

I hope you’ll give a few of these a try using some of your scrapbook papers! If you love these – let me know in the comments below! xoxo Denise

CommentThank you for the Christmas and New Year’s idea with toys! The beads can be replaced with colored buttons. They are always in the box with handicrafts, can be cut off from the old clothes 🙂

This is such a great idea! There are so many beautiful papers to use and they are pretty much cat proof so that’s a plus for me as well. Thank you so much for sharing the tutorial!
