Artist Inspiration My Favorite Interior Design Books for Inspiration

As an artist, finding inspiration can be a challenge. Luckily, there are many resources available to help spark your creativity, and one of my favorites is interior design books. In this video, I share some of my go-to books for art inspiration that have helped me with color palettes, design elements, and much more.

First up on my list is In the Mood for Colour by Hans Blomquist, which has amazing photography and showcases a variety of styles and color palettes. It’s perfect for getting ideas for composition and color schemes.

Next, I love Gypsy by Sibella Court for its focus on color and themes. The images are stunning, and I always find something new to inspire me every time I flip through its pages.

Lastly, Curate by Lynda Gardener and Ali Heath is a classic that every artist should have in their collection. It’s a timeless resource for color theory and design principles.

Overall, these interior design books have been a valuable resource for my artistic inspiration. Whether you’re looking for new color palettes, design ideas, or just some visual inspiration, these books are sure to provide it.

Don’t forget to check out my video where I showcase these books in more detail and discuss how I use them in my art.

Books I’m showing in class – some of these are older books and may be out of print. I’ve tried to link as best as I could. (The Amazon links are affiliate links. If you use my link, I get a small commission, which will go toward my art supplies! I appreciate your support!)
