From Swatches to Art: Creating a Custom Color Palette & Painting

In this video, I dive into color mixing and abstract painting in my Dina Wakley Ledger Journal!

I start by creating a custom color palette using shades of pink, burgundy, black, and white, exploring different tones and variations. Then, I take those colors to the next level by painting an abstract art journal spread with mark-making, stencils, and layered textures.

If you love experimenting with color and mixed media techniques, this tutorial is for you! Grab your paints and journal along with me. Don’t forget to like, subscribe, and share if you enjoy this creative journey!
