Explore Color Mixing: Creating a Bold Red and Orange Palette

In this video, I’m working in my Dina Wakley Ledger and exploring the art of color mixing to create a custom palette using red, orange, black, and white. On one page, I experiment with blending these colors to discover a range of beautiful tones and hues. Then, I take that palette and create an abstract mixed media painting on the opposite page, incorporating layered florals, bold marks, and playful textures. Join me for a step-by-step look at how I build cohesive color palettes and bring them to life in an art journal. Perfect for anyone looking to experiment with color and abstract techniques!
