Creative Sampler: Exploring Supplies in 12 Mini Abstract Paintings

In this video, I’m creating a 12-piece mixed media sampler on one sheet of watercolor paper—just for the joy of experimenting with my favorite supplies.

I start by laying down soft, vibrant layers using Masha’s watercolors, then build up interest with mark making using Posca and Copic Acrea markers. To finish things off, I add stencil work to bring in texture and pattern.

This is a fun, low-pressure way to explore how your materials interact and spark new ideas for future projects. Come paint along and see what magic unfolds!
