Creative abstract: Acrylic Paint & Stencil Designs on Various Surfaces
In this art video tutorial, I delve into the versatile world of mixed media journaling using the Dina Wakley Media Journal as my canvas. Focused on experimentation, I explore the unique properties of both watercolor paper and burlap pages within the journal, utilizing acrylic paints from Blick Matte and stencil designs from Stencil Girl. Through a combination of abstract painting techniques on the watercolor page and complementary stencil designs on the burlap, I guide viewers through a creative journey that emphasizes expression and exploration. Whether you're a seasoned mixed media artist or just beginning to dabble in the world of art journaling, this tutorial offers inspiration and insights into the endless possibilities of combining different materials and techniques to create dynamic and personalized artwork.
