Mixed media art journal spread featuring a colorful abstract painting with layered stencil textures on one side and a bold black-and-white stencil design on the other, showcasing contrasting artistic styles.

Contrasting Pages: Abstract Painting and Black & White Stencil Art

In this video, I take you through my process of working in a handmade art journal, creating two eye-catching pages with contrasting styles. On the left page, I explore an abstract painting inspired by a palette from the Color Cube, layering vibrant colors and textures with stencil work for added depth. On the right page, I use a bold black-and-white stencil design to create a striking contrast that complements the abstract art. Whether you're looking for inspiration for your art journal or want to learn techniques for combining color and monochrome designs, this video has something for every artist!
