Colorful Creations: Acrylics, Graphite, and Neocolor II in a Mixed Media Art Journal Spread
In this art video tutorial, I delved into the creative possibilities of the Dina Wakley Media Journal, showcasing its diverse paper types. Opening to a new spread, one page featured watercolor paper while the other embraced the warmth of brown craft paper. Guided by The Color Cube palette, my exploration unfolded through the harmonious blend of acrylic paints, subtle graphite accents, and the vibrant strokes of Neocolor II Pastels. The process captured the essence of abstract expression, weaving textures and colors seamlessly across the contrasting surfaces. Join me on this artistic journey as I navigate the intricacies of each page, offering insights into the techniques and decisions that shaped this mixed-media masterpiece. Whether you're a seasoned artist or just starting, this tutorial invites you to embrace the joy of experimentation within the pages of your art journal.
