Building Layers: Art Journaling with Handmade Papers and Watercolors!

In today’s video, I’m excited to share the ongoing developments in my Dina Wakley Media Journal series. Continuing with the same watercolor palette, I delved into a fascinating stencil technique that yielded impressive results. Adding a layer of complexity, I incorporated handmade papers to create a flyout section, introducing additional texture and visual interest to the pages. While these layouts are still in progress, the evolution is noteworthy. Join me in this session as I provide a detailed walkthrough of the techniques employed, sharing insights and reflections on the artistic journey. The incorporation of diverse elements promises a visually engaging and enriching experience for both seasoned artists and those just starting their creative exploration.

Dina Wakley Media Journal – Looks like this one is gone – you might google this journal to see what is available still. I heard it was a discontinued journal and the craft journals were the ones currently being made.
