Behind The Scenes & Watch Me Edit

In this video, I’m going to take you behind the scenes of this photo and show you my set up and talk about it and the lighting. I was shooting with my Lensbaby Velvet 56 lens on this collection at about an f5.6.

I’m using the Seasons Spring Summer preset collection on the photo and a texture from the Summerville set if you want to check those out.

I’m trying to be creative every single day right now. We are in isolation from the coronavirus and I am making do with the things I can find in my house and just outside. I’m lucky it is spring and the trees have started blooming so I could go cut a few branches to use.

I hope you enjoy this look at my setup and the processing of the final image.

This was so good! Thanks for the tip on adding blue through levels. I’m always try to add a bit but that’s look like the easiest way. Love this whole edit. So beautiful:)

Thank you Denise for the Behind The Scenes And Watch Me! Loved to see your processing, inspired me to do more with my photos.

The background painting was also helpful.

I have notes from each project, and hope to use them.

I have been stuck and procrastinating for way too long.

    Thank you for the inspiration!!!

Thanks Denise! Ten below zero with windchill here in Maine so nice to see your flowers! Do you add your presets to both LR and Adobe Camera Raw? I’ve just been using them in LR.

The presets are all pulling from adobe camera raw now since one of the adobe updates – so you can open them in either program if you are on the CC versions!

Your work is absolutely amazing! I’m just getting started on textures and layering. How did you learn so much about Photoshop and Lightroom? Did you learn by doing, or did you take classes? Thank you!

Thank you! I learned by just trial and error years ago and just kept at it. 🙂
