Art Challenge: Painting with Kandinsky-Inspired Prompts

In this video, I bring Kandinsky-inspired art prompts to life! Watch as I select several prompts from my handmade art prompt deck and create an expressive abstract painting in my journal using Masha’s watercolors, Neocolor II pastels, and shimmering gold accents.

This intuitive process blends bold color, movement, and mark-making to capture the energy and emotion behind each prompt. Whether you're looking for creative inspiration or curious about how to use art prompts in your own work, this video is the perfect way to spark new ideas! Grab your paints and join me in this fun, expressive journey.

Looking for the supplies I used? I’ve listed all my favorite and most-used materials on one easy-to-update page here: https://2lilowls.com/favorite-supplies-for-mixed-media-abstract-art/

(Some of the links are affiliate links. If you use my link, I get a small commission, which will go toward my art supplies and to support this channel! I appreciate your support!!)

Note: I don’t list individual supply links on every post any longer, simply because keeping up with that for each video or project took more time than I have. Instead, I’ve created one easy-to-browse page where I’ve listed all my favorite and most-used art supplies. It’s always up to date, and a great place to find what I’m working with most often.
