My close-up gouache abstract painting with layered stencil florals, warm coral and pink washes, and a grid pattern with olive and red marks.

I built this section with loose gouache washes, then added structure with a simple grid pattern and stencil florals. I love mixing transparent layers with crisp marks because it creates a mixed media look while staying beginner-friendly.
