Hope everyone is staying cool on this *Hot* day!  The temp on my car thermometer  was 108 when I got in it today to come home.. Hot Hot Hot!!!  Today I have a new photo recipe using the new brush set – plasterwalls and grunge set.. and one of the new Farmhouse shabby textures… I have really been having fun with these sets!  Check out this beautiful flower below!

This is the photo I started with.  I did some minor color correction and some sharpening before adding the textures and the brushes.  My personal preference on the sharpening.. I just don’t like it when the texture is added and then the photo is sharpened.

I then added textures #30 @100% softlight…  from the Farmhouse shabby set 2

Then I added these 4 brushes to the photo – 2 are from the plasterwalls/grunge brush set and the 2 script brushes are in the vintage papers brush set.
